Keshav College of Education, Karnal was established in 2007 under the management of Keshav Education Society came into existence on 16th October 2006 with its registration under the Society Registration Act (XXI) of 1860 amended by the Punjab Amendment Act 1957 vide Registration no. ROS-133.

It is one of the constituent parts of Keshav Group of Institutions and stands among the renowned colleges that impart undergraduate level course in the field of Education.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

It also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course under State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
