Kavery College of Education, Salem was established in 2005.

It is approved by NCTE, Govt. of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Periyar University.

The Kavery Educational Trust, Mecheri was founded in the year 1998 by eminent educationists, with them profound experience and found vision, they are architect and driving force behind the temples of learning under the banner of THE KAVERY EDUCTIONAL INSTITUTIONS. It is committed ro provide quality education to all those who enter this portals.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at The Kavery College of Education in its various departments.

There are about 8 colleges in one campus under The Kavery having a total student's strength 7,000 and all the Institutions are exclusively meant for Co-Education, making in as the larger

institution for the wards of poor and downtrodden. The Kavery College of Education was established in the year 2005 sponsored by The Kavery Educational Trust. It offers B.Ed., and

M.Ed., course and the present strength is, B.Ed., - 100 and M.Ed., - 35.
