Kasturi Shikshan Santha's College of Education (B.Ed. & M.Ed.), Shikrapur was established in 2008 under the management of Kasturi Shikshan Sanstha (R), which was established by Dr.Pandit Palande on 1st January 1996.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. It is also recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

The Sanstha is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act,1950 vide Reg.No. F11735/Pune dated 1st January 1996. It is also registered under Sanstha Registration Act,186D vide Reg.No Maharashtra/10888-95/ Pune dated 1/1/1996.

The society was established with an aim to impart practical, vocational and life oriented education to one and all in the society. The society plans to endure full-fledged intensive courses from the pre-primary level to postgraduate level in various streams.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

It is co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Pune played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level.
