Kasthooribha Gandhi Nursery Teacher Training Institute, Masakalipatty was established in 1999.

It is managed under Freedom Fighter N.Kandasamy Educational Trust.

Freedom Fighter N.Kandasamy worked as a soldier in VIII Gorilla Battalion of Nethaji Subhash Chandrabose Indian National Army in memory of his father his son Sri K.Chidhambaram started this Educational Trust in1999.

The Institute is purely for Women. The total area of the building is 36,000 Sqr.ft.

The main objective of this institution is to develop efficient and energetic teachers and through them to develop a best student community.

Kasthooribha Gandhi Nursery Teacher Training Institute is established to reflect the thoughts of Gandhiji the father of Nation, Nethaji the lion of Bengal and Puratchikavi Bharathiyar.
