Karuppannan Mariappan College (KMC), Erode was established in 1997 with an aim of providing quality education to all. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Counicl (NAAC) and affiliated to Bharathiar University, Which is a state university in Coimbatore. The college is approved by the government of Tamil Nadu. The college is also approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC).
