Kanyakumari Government Medical College, Kanyakumari is among the reputed medical colleges of Tamil Nadu. The foundation stone of the college was laid in 2001.

The college is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The Courses offered by Kanyakumari Government Medical College are approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).
