Kanoria Centre for Medical Education (KCME), Gandhinagar was established in 2008. The college is affiliated to the Gujarat University. The college offers the three training courses in the field of Mental Health , Excellent campus facility, Academic and Clinical Environment with strong hospital base, eminent faculty, trainees will be provided with thorough theoretical and practical training with heavy emphasis on clinical – practical work. The demand for Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Counselors is increasing day by day for Counseling Centres, Clinics, Hospitals, Schools, Colleges, Special Schools and or the Government’s Projects like Mental Health Mission ( IIM - Netherland Project), Aids Control etc. Recently medical specialists have felt the need and importance for including Counseling and Psychotherapy as one of the treatment modalities for the treatment of Cardiac and Cancer patients. The college has ventured in the field of mental health by announcing Gujarat University recognized Training Course in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. The training courses will be conducted in an excellent, well designed and spacious campus of Kanoria Hospital with all required academic facilities like lecture halls, specialized library.
