Kanchrapara College, Kanchrapara was established in 1972.

Kanchrapara College is a NAAC Accredited reputed institution of higher learning at the heart of a cosmopolitan township with a dedicated band of highly qualified teachers and an energetic group of non-teaching employees with affiliation to the University of Kalyani.

With the assistance of UGC, the College has already introduced Remedial Coaching and also coaching for Entry into Services for SC/ST & Minority along with ODL Center of the University of Kalyani.

Besides, Kanchrapara College has been credited with being the Partner Institute under the Convergence Scheme of IGNOU.

Kanchrapara College Students have been performing extraordinarily in terms of Results in the University Examinations and out of them, some have qualified NET Examination of UGC also.

The mission of the College of Education is to help prepare outstanding educators, scholars, and researchers, and to advance the profession of education, as broadly defined, through research on the science and art of teaching and learning, the application of clinical processes, the effective uses of technology, and the analysis and development of leadership and educational policy.
