The Founder President of the Trust was Mr. O.V. Alagasen, former Union Railway and Petroleum Minister.
The Trust is a Charitable Trust and has among their founders Trustees, Padmashree. Dr.Sarojini Varadappan an eminent social worker and Mr. P.T.R. Palanivel Rajan, former Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
