Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela was established in 1982.

It is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology.

It is a constituent of Kanak Manjari Trust. KMIPS is a premier institution engaged in imparting education and training in Pharmacy.

At present the institute offers courses at Post Graduate (M.Pharm), Degree(B.Pharm) and Diploma(D.Pharm) Levels.

Since 1982 the institution has been on it's track in fulfilling the needs for Pharmaceutical Sciences of the people and society of Orissa and through performance and Results has been able to create a niche for itself among all other institutes offering courses in Pharmacy.

The institute offers four years under graduate course in Pharmacy.

KMIPS is approved by the Pharmacy council of India. All India council for Technical Education and Govt in Health and Family Welfare Dept, Govt of Orissa.
