Kalpana Chawla College of Education, Hisar is a proposed self-financing College of Teacher Education, located at Hisar.

It is the youngest among the group of institutions established by Indian Education Society, registration Act xxi of 1860 established on 1st January 2004 Vide Regi. No.228/2003-04 dated 25th February 2004.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Jind formerly affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (in 1st Cycle) on 27th March 2011.

The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

It also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university is eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
