Kaliyaganj College(KC), Uttar Dinajpur was established in 1968.

Its affiliated to North Bengal University.

This is a well-known, Co-Education college. The college was established to promote the higher studies to the local region. The college offers a wide choice of undergraduate courses in disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce.

The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B and recognized by UGC under 2(f) & 12(b). The college is well equipped with all mandatory facilities.

The college is affiliated to North Bengal University, established in 1962 with a goal to disseminate knowledge to fulfill growing socio-economic and technical manpower needs in the six North Bengal districts and the neighboring state of Sikkim. This is a state university situated near Siliguri in Darjeeling district.

This was the first university in the region. The University has played a pioneering role since inception in spreading higher education and scientific attitudes within the predominantly rural areas.
