Kaliammal College of Education, Karur was established in 2005.

Kaliammal College of Education is managed under Tmt. Kaliammal Palaniappan Educational & Charitable Trust.

The College was earlier affiliated to Bharathidasan University.

Since the inception of TamilNadu Teachers Education University in 2008, the college runs under the new born University.

Their students had achieved spectacular success in all the University Examinations.

To be specific all students so far obtained First class in Practicum Components.
