Kaliabor College of Education, Nagaon was established in 1992. It is one of the most prominent and top grade colleges in the region of Nagaon.

It is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati and recognized by National Council of teacher Education (NCTE).

The college is spread over an area of 10 bighas of land. Over the years, the college has carved a niche for itself and attracts students from various parts of the country, because of its tremendous Results every year.

Students here are admitted who completed there graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks in eligibility for admission.

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
