Katni Arts & Commerce College, Katni was established in 2001 is a top-ranked institution of Katni and managed by Lala Mathura Das Education Society.
The college is recognized by Department of Higher Education Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
The aim of the college was to migrating higher education to the people of our country by running education institute.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Katni played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports, and curricular activities understand Durgavati University, Jabalpur.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management streams with various specializations and offers two years of a postgraduate course in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management with various specializations under Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
Admissions here also done through Govt. of M.P. online portal by the Department of Higher Education M.P. and hence gives a transparent and a fair method of admission.

- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
