K.V. Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women, Hyderabad was established in 1994 sponsored by Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet formally called as Indira sevasadam.

It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The Vidyapeet is exclusively dedicated for the women empowerment. Empowerment of students for their all round development through education is our cherished motto. The college functions under the able leadership and supervision of the executive members of Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet, led by Dr. M. Ramalakshmi, President & M. Rama Reddy, Secretary.

Vidyapeet is especially meant for the promotion and progress for women community. At present Vidyapeet is managing 5 institutions. High School, Jr College, Degree College, D. Pharmacy College, B. Pharmacy and Engineering College including MCA and MBA.
