K.L.R. Degree and PG College, Khammam was established in 2001.

The college is affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal into the curriculum with the approval of APSCHE, Hyderbad.   with spacious buildings in a pleasant atmosphere.

The college is the first of its kind to upgrade itself to a research center in science within a short span of 3 years. Now, KLR PG College offers M.Sc. physics, organic chemistry and botany.

The college which started with 4 students has strength of 2000 students in 11 constituent departments.

In the academic year 2006-07, KLR Degree College also included PG courses.

The college has a well-furnished infrastructure and separate accommodations for girls and boys with all modern facilities. The college has placement cell that provides placement assistance and internships to their students. It also provides Remedial coaching classes to students for all entrance examination after completing the undergraduate Courses.
