K.C.E. Society's College of Education, Jalgaon was established in 1970 under the management of Khandesh College Education Society's (K.C.E. Society's), which was established in 1944.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956. 

It is also recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal to offers B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (CGPA Score 3.09 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 21st February 2014.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. Khandesh College Education Society continues to offer broad-based and student-oriented courses ranging from Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Physical Education, Geoinformatics, Animation, Multimedia etc.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Jalgaon played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. Khandesh College Education Society College also imparts several Degree course of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik Study centre and Maharashtra State Certificate Course in Information Technology (MS-CIT).
