Jyothi College of Education, Karimnagar was established in 2000.

 Its Affiliated to Kakatiya University. 

It is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The main objective of the institution is to build capacity of highest standards in education professionals who can replace learning by rote with true learning through extensive use of communication technology.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Jyothi College of Education in its various departments.

JCE aims at developing competencies of the prospective teachers in teaching skills, IT skills and soft skills in a computer aided learning ambience. JCE not only aims at the development of teaching skills but also inducing a sense of social and ethical responsibility in their students.
