JP Institute of Engineering and Technology (JPIET), Meerut is managed by JP Education trust, which was established in 1993.

JPIET is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

JP Education trust was established in the year 1993 under the dynamic leadership of Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal and Dr. Hariom Agarwal. Trust is imparting quality education in professional and other general Academic field - 125 acre Campus, 8 Institutions, over 10,000 students, 7500 ALUMNI. Late (Smt.) Krishna Agarwal, w/o Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal, Chairman of the trust, was a prominent philanthropist of Western UP. Her love of humanity and human cause drove her, taking up social causes and helping the down-trodden in the society. She was of firm conviction that the only way to improve the economic well-being of masses is through education. She started her journey in education field by laying the foundation of JP Academy having classes from Nursery to 12th standard.

This success bought the further motivation and heighten the spirit of JP Group, it has re-emphasized its focus not only on the excellent academics and collaborative learning but also to implement the strategic planning towards - orientation and proper career counseling of students, working on their areas of improvement, grooming and professional domains specific trainings and quality placement. Institute also opened a new avenue for strengthening its alumni network now.
