JJ Rojaa Teacher Training Institute, Uppliyapuram was established in 2002.

Its affiliated to the Periyar University.

It is a unique, non-minority, self financing Teacher Training Institution in Tamilnadu. JJ Rojaa Teacher Training Institute is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.

JJ Rojaa Teacher Training Institute is managed under J.J. Educational trust.

The aim of the Trust is to produce sincere, hard-working, dedicated and competent primary and elementary school teachers who can try new innovative thinking and practices in their class rooms.

The Institute will aim at producing learner-friendly teachers who can harness the available resources in the community.

The Institute promises to render service to student population from lower state of the society in this area and foster a high standard of education by a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members at all levels.
