JES's College of Education, Nandurbar was established in 1988 and works under the guidance and sponsorship of Jijamata Education Society’s which was established in 1986.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and approved by Govt. of Maharashtra.

It is also recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It was dedicated to the cause of imparting quality education to the aspiring teachers and managed by Jijamata Education Society.

This Society with having the aim to provide the good education for Nandurbar District tribal students.

It is co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Nandurbar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
