Established in 1996, JDT Islam College of Pharmacy was established by JDT Islam Orphanage Committee with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy for deserving aspirants.

The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur and it was recognized & approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and Govt. of Kerala.

Within a short time span, it has become one of the most sought-after pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Subsequent to the career success of pharmacists and the increased demand in the healthcare industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004.

The college has a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution.  Currently, the institution is also conducting M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence-based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and Research Centre.

At present, the college offers D.Pharm, M.Pharm, and B.Pharm courses and is pledged to provide advanced facilities to comply with technological advancements.
