Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Wardha was established in 1990.

The college is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and affiliated to Nagpur University. 

It is named in the memory of Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Ex-Prime Minister and Architect of Modern & developing India.

JNMC is well known as a center of excellence in the state. The medical college was started in the year 1990 and it is a constituent part of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences University, Nagpur.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Wardha conducts various courses in medical sciences, at undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD, MS, Diploma) levels.

The college has the capacity to enroll 150 students for MBBS, every year. It provides world-class facilities to its students.
