Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Technology (GNIT), Ranga Reddy was established in 2007 by Sri Gnana Saraswati Educational Society under the Chairmanship of Shri Meka Janaki Ram.

The college is affiliated to premier Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
