The college was risen to its present status of the post graduate college starting as Junior High School with a donation from Sri Devendra Mani Dwivedi.
The college got the affiliation with Agra University and the college started with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. Since 1967 college is affiliated with C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur.
The College started its one year post graduate diploma in computer application.
