Jan Baz Wali College of Education, Baramullah was established in 1999-2000.

It is affiliated to the University of Kashmir on temporary basis for imparting instructions.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

The college has a rich library maintained by a Professional Assistant and has a good number of text books.

The college also subscribes to various magazines and news papers. The college has qualified teaching staff to run the course.
