About Jain College of Engineering
Jain College of Engineering (JCE), Belgaum was established in 2010. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Jain College of Engineering (JCE), Belagavi was started under the umbrella of Jain Group of Institutions (JGI) headquartered in Bangalore. JCE made its beginning in the year 2010 in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. All the courses are affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and our institute is also affiliated to AICTE, New-Delhi.
Apart from these engineering courses, the institute also has an Post Graduate Courses, namely M.Tech in Power Systems and Construction Technology, MBA and MCA. Our students have been performing consistently in their academics with about 65% of them scoring a distinction in all their semesters till date. A few students have brought laurels to our institute by being nominated as “University Blues” in various sports fields.

At Jain College of Engineering the Department of Training and Placement believes that placements are the major benchmark to the performance of the institute.The placement cell is the nodal center and an integral part of the institution. It has scaled great heights and touched about 2500+ cumulative offers since its inception. The Centre has very active linkages and collaborations with industry. The Centre helps students in pursuing their career interests and also assists the employers in achieving their hiring goals. More than 50 reputed National and Multinational companies visit our institution for campus recruitment annually.
The Centre provides value added services like personal interview, analytical, quantitative, reasoning, mock tests, and team spirits and enterprise dynamics as part of their preplacement training. It also facilitates a web portal service to students to take up simulated online tests. The Centre offers complete state-of-the-art physical, communication and computing infrastructure for its effective functioning and best arrangement necessary to facilitate the ofï¬cials and companies visiting for placements.
