Jai Bharath College, Vengola (Dist. Ernakulam) was established in 2002 and managed by Jai Bharath Educational Foundation which was owned and managed by Jai Bharath Trust, Ernakulam, Kerala.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and also certified with ISO Certification.
The aim of the college is to explore, develop and apply human and technological capabilities for the benefit of the regional, national and international community.
It is a co-educational private Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Ernakulam played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses and offers two years postgraduate courses in Commerce, Science, and Management streams with various specializations under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. It also offers Diploma and Add-On Certificate courses.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
