J.S.P.S Govt Homoeopathic Medical college, Hyderabad was established in 1967.

Its affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS.

by Private Managements and subsequently were taken over by the Government in 1972 merging later in 1979.

The College was named as Dr. Jaisoorya Potti Sree Ramulu Government Homoeopathic Medical College. Earlier Diploma course was conducted from 1967 to 1978 under the Board of Indian Medicines & Homoeopathy. In 1979, the degree i.e., M.B.S (Homoeo.) started and affiliated to the Osmania University.

From 1987-1988 onwards the college is affiliated to the A.P University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

The post graduate courses in Homoeopathy were started in the year 1999.

Now the both degree courses i.e BHMS and Post Graduate courses i.e M.D.(Hom) , Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Now this institute is under the administrative control of Commissioner, Dept. of AYUSH, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
