J.R.S.E.T. College of Education (JRSETCE), Chakdaha is a co-education college and is managed by the J.R.S Educational Trust, which is a self financed Group and established in 2006.

The college is affiliated to the University of Kalyani and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college has competent and experienced lecturers to provide assistance to the students. The aim of the college is to promote advanced learning process and to develop professional skills and competence in teaching profession.

The college stands among the renowned colleges that impart one year B.Ed programme in West Bengal. It is conveniently located and the excellent infrastructure of the campus generates an ideal ambiance for studies. 

There was a demand from the locality and also from the students section to open a Teacher Education Programme in the rural area of Chakdaha, Nadia, West Bengal. So, a group of social workers led by "JRS Educational Trust" came forward and took the initiative to establish an Educational complex where a College of Education will be housed.

The College is managed and run by JRSET duly registered under Indian Trust Act 1982 and I.T. Act. 1961. The College is established with a view for the purpose of advancement of teaching, research and dissemination of knowledge in Teacher Education Programme i.e. Bachelor in Education Course and also to develop professional skills and competence of persons intending to take up teachership as their career.

The college campus has a nice environment where teacher and student would ideally groomed physically, mentally, socially, psychologically, intellectually to meet the demand of the modern day society.
