J.J. Institute of Nursing, Pudukkottai was established in 1995.

Its Affiliated to Government of Tamilnadu.

Subsequently Tamilnadu Nursing Council also granted the permission and approved the institute to offer the Diploma course for women with student strength of 20. Now VKK Hospital and Medical Research Centre Private Limited handed over the management of J.J. Institute of Nursing to Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust, Pudukkottai.

This Trust has further made the institute more popular among the public.
