Ira Education Society’s College of Education, Arvi (Dist. Pune) was started its first academic session in 2006 and managed by Ira Education Society, which was founded on 11th October 2006 for the purpose to start various Educational Institutions in all over Maharashtra.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

The society aims to Enablement through Education" by engaging in teaching, research, service to the community, and economic development. The college strives to prepare lifelong educators and professionals to provide the necessary foundation for truly educated citizens.

It is co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Pune played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
