Iqra Education Society's Iqra College of Education, Jalgaon was established in 1992 and managed by Iqra Education Society, which was established in 1986.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The society aims to uplift the socially backward and economically weaker section of the society, and giving them an opportunity to empower themselves.

The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.45 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 17th March 2016.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part Jalgaon of played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

Iqra Education Society is a Muslim minority Institution. Starting from K.G. in 1986, this institution made a tremendous achievement in a very short period. Various branches are opened by making a tremendous progress and contribution.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The proposal for distance mode B.Ed. was submitted to Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. The college is going to start, M.Ed., D.S.M, and another short-term, certificate, etc. courses.
