IPS Academy, Indore was a successor to Indore Public School which is popularly known as Professional Studies Academy, Indore established in 1990 by Mr. Achal Choudhary and managed by IPS Society (R).

Indore Professional Studies Academy (IPSA) is the largest educational hub-premises, playing a major role to develop Indore as Central India’s most preferred educational centre.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is recognized & approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 1st Cycle) on 5th May 2014.

The aim of the college was to improve teaching and learning across our nation, particularly within the contexts of urban and global education also committed to addressing the educational and physical needs of all learners across the lifespan and to working closely with educators, leaders, and policymakers in the field.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Indore played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Tourism, Pharmacy, and Teacher Training streams with various specializations and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management with various specializations Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.

It also offers Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, and Certificate Courses.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
