International Institute of Foreign Trade & Research, Indore has been promoted by Medi-Caps Ltd., a well-established pharmaceutical group with ISO-9002 certification, primarily involved in the manufacture of empty capsules.

It also operates in the field of Real Estate and Finance through Mittal Enterprises.

The Medi-Caps Group has decided to diversify in the field of Professional Education, under the enlightened leadership of Shri R.C. Mittal, its Managing Director.

With this objective IIFTR has obtained the permission of the Higher Education Department, M.P. State Government and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore to start high-level professional courses in the field of Foreign Trade and Business Administration etc.

All the academic programmes of the Institute have the affiliation from Devi Ahilya University, Indore.

MPAICTE approval is not needed for conducting courses in Foreign Trade, as these courses do not fall within the jurisdiction of AICTE.
