Institute of Professional Studies and Research (IPSAR), Cuttack was established in 1988 by Dr.R.N.Misra, a visionary educationist of Orissa in the field of Management and Cost Accountancy.

IPSAR, a premier B-School operating in Eastern India at sliver City Cuttack, got recognition from AICTE in 1993.

IPSAR has an approved intake of 120 for its full time program and an intake of 60 seats for its part time program for working executives under affiliation to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).
