Institute of Professional Education & Research (IPER), Bhopal was established in 1996.

The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

The institute has been managed by Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti.

IPER was conceived not purely as a business school, but as a school of management.

Therefore apart from teaching, IPER initiated various indigenous professional initiatives like research, consultancy, HAM (Human Asset Maximization) and CMTP (Contemporary Management Theories and Practices).

IPER has been adopting innovative teaching practices to ensure that the participants learn much more than just the concepts taught in a contemporary classroom.
