Institute of Management Studies, Kolkata was established in 2006.
Inspired by the noble cause of education, Institute of Management Study began its curriculum from July 2006. It is one of the new age B-Schools, set up with the objective to provide undergraduates well as Postgraduate Programmes in Management and Computer Application under the Affiliation of recognized University.
One of the most eventful times in human history is perhaps the turn of the new millennium, and when it came the challenges of the new generation, which are many arnd varied in number; so much so that only the most competent members can survive and hence prosper. these challenges can be won by wisdom and wisdom is knowledge, where, the knowledge can come through education. IMS is a coeducational institution providing equal opportunity in all respect to impart quality education for building up managers, teachers and researches for the industry.
It is Recognized by West Bengal University of Technology. Apart from that The institute started its maiden batch of Postgraduate programme in Management (PGPM) and MBA under University of Burdwan - Distance Learning, study centre.
