Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana.

The institute is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Noida (U.P) which is the apex formation in the country for educational & professional training in Hospitality Management and Operation. 

The Institute was established in 1989 as Food Craft Institute and was started functioning from August 1989.

It has been up-graded as Institute of Hotel Management in 2009.
