Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Kurukshetra is an autonomous institute jointly sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Department of Tourism, Government of Haryana.

The  Institute is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology.

It is a society registered under Society of Registration Act with District Registrar of Firms & Societies, Kurukshetra.

Its first academic was established in 2008.

The facilities and amenities have been created adhering to accredited norms of National Council for Hotel Management in respect to building planning, staffing, equipment requirements, infrastructure facilities for creating a model Hotel Management Institute in the country.
