Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Jodhpur was first established as Food Craft Institute in 1996 was upgraded to the Institute of Hotel Management in 2001.

The college was setup by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan and affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Noida, an apex body under the ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
