Institute of Educational Research & Studies P.T.T.I, Kolkata was established in 1980. The institute offers two year Diploma in Education course to the young aspirants. The college is governed by a Self- financed group. The institute is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), to conduct course in the field of education. The institute has well experienced and dedicated teachers to impart knowledge different aspects of the course. The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also To enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education. The College is involved to give the trainees to meet the future challanges in the field of Education and develop communication skills and use modern information Technology for School Purpose.
