Institute of Design Environment and Architecture (IDEA), Nashik was established in 2000.

Its Affiliated to University of Pune.

IDEA, with its state of the art infrastructure, faculty geared towards catering balanced education, and its strong philosophy of "Co-existence with nature" and "learning by doing" proposes to bring in positive change in design education.

IDEA, being aware of its responsibility towards society, has set up a research unit, which facilitates growth of environment friendly methodologies in the design industry and of environment conscious designers.
