Insight Institute of Education & Training, Srinagar was established in 2004.

The college is affiliated to University of Kashmir.

The college has been cleared by the UGC under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

Presently the college has floated a B.Ed. programme and is to offer new educational programmes in the coming future. The college has comfortable, pollution free, separate residential arrangement for both boys and girls.

All the curricular, co-curricular activities are executed under the close supervision of Prof. A. G. Madhosh, a well renowned Educationist of the State. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Insight Institute of Education & Training in its various departments.
