Indraprastha College of Education (ICE), Rohtak was established in 1976.

It is a premiere college of education offering Bachelor of Education programme. The college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers the course according to the rules and regulations of the Maharshi Dayanand University.

The college provides qualified lecturers to impart their experience to the students, which would help them in accomplishing their objective. The college has number of modern facilities to ensure all round development of its students.

The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, established in 1976 as a residential university through an Act of Legislative Assembly of Haryana with a specific objective to establish and incorporate a teaching-cum-affiliating University at Rohtak for the encouragement of interdisciplinary higher education and research with special emphasis on studies of Life Sciences and Environmental and Ecological Sciences.

During the past years of its existence the University has attained a remarkable degree of success in its expansion programs, academic quality and infrastructural developments. National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, has graded it as B++ University.
