Indira College of Nursing, Thiruvallur was established and managed under Indira Educational & Charitable Trust.

The Trust was established in 13th March 2002.

Indira College of Nursing is affiliated to the TamilNadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai. 

Indira College of Nursing is approved by the Indian Nursing Council / Tamilnadu Nurses & Midwives Council is situated on the mail Thiruvallur Thiruthani National Highway NH 205 and is well connected by road with Chennai and other district headquarters in Tamilnadu.
