Indian Institute of Pharmacy, Jamshedpur was established in 1987. The college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Indian Institute of Pharmacy Jamshedpur is also recognized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Deptt. Of Science & Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand, Deptt.of Health & Medical Education-Govt. of Bihar and Govt. of Jharkhand. At present, the college offers diploma course.
