The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) were created by the Indian Government with the aim of identifying the brightest student talent available and creating a pool of elite managers to lead the various sectors of the Indian economy.

IIM Udaipur, a second-generation IIM, one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country. It was set up by the Indian Government in 2011. Summer Internships

The summer internship is a mandatory component of the PGP course

The internship is an eight-week long relationship between the student and the organization for a mutually beneficial experience

Students are made available for the summer internship period of 8-9 weeks from April to May/June to work as a summer intern

Companies can make pre-placement offers to students after gauging their abilities and fit thus making an informed choice about the student

Each student is assigned a faculty mentor to help them do better during the summer placements and to draw upon the extensive knowledge of the faculty from IIM Udaipur
