Commonly known as IHM Meerut, The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Meerut was established in 1987 as an autonomous body and is registered as an Educational Society under Societies Act 1860.

The old institute with a campus spread area of over 2.5 acres has emerged as a leading training institution in North India.

At present, there are two separate campuses together to offer complete theoretical and practical training specially designed for future hoteliers. Students benefit from expert techniques focus on the hotel profession of today and prepare themselves for many outstanding employment opportunities.

Here, students of previous batches have made their mark felt throughout the country and aboard. Industry circles have appreciated our efforts in churning out thorough hospitality professionals and are keen to absorb them.

It has properly laid out separate blocks with approx. 2.25 lacs sq.ft. the covered area including academic block, laboratories with most modern equipment, administrative block, two restaurants, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, auditorium, staff quarters, guest house, playgrounds and other facilities to make the institute an ideal educational centre.

The institute is providing high-class education in the field of hotel management to meet international hospitality standards and professional competence of our students is appreciated by the industry both in India and abroad.

At present, the institute offers 4 years of BHMCT, 3 years of B.Sc. HHA, and also offers 3 years of Diploma in HMCT courses.

B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Noida & IGNOU, Govt. of India.

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated with Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.

Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated with Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.
